Beginner II Finnish language

This course continues to build on beginner-level vocabulary and grammar.
What you’ll learn
By the end of first semester, students will be able to understand written and audible sentences and frequent expressions, such as family members, geographical references, and continuing to build on everyday vocabulary and grammar.
In this class we also take a look at Finnish language in a system level. You will be introduced to the concepts of partitive, different types of sentences and locations as a base of expressing anything.
Requirements
No previous exposure to Finnish language required. Students will learn basic conversational skills, as well as entry-level vocabulary and grammar.
Students must demonstrate proficiency in English to enroll in our Finnish language courses. This requirement ensures that all participants can effectively engage with the course materials and instructions provided in English.
Fees
Tuition for the year is 340$; the first attended semester in an academic year will be 180$ and the second semester is discounted to 160$.
Payment is expected no later than the second class meeting of each semester.
Class placement
After registration, all students will be assigned an appropriate class level, based on their level of proficiency of the Finnish language.
