Intermediate II Finnish language

What you’ll learn
This course reinforces and builds on previously learned grammar and vocabulary concepts in reading, listening, and speaking. Students deepen their understanding of word formation, sentence structure, and verb tenses in both active and passive voice. Differences between spoken and written Finnish are introduced, and the class is conducted primarily in Finnish.
Requirements
A foundational understanding of basic Finnish grammar and vocabulary is required.
To enroll in our Finnish language courses, students must demonstrate proficiency in English. This ensures that all participants can effectively engage with course materials and instructions, which are provided in English.
Fees
Tuition for the year is $340; the first attended semester in an academic year will be $180 and the second semester is discounted to 160$.
Payment is expected no later than the second class meeting of each semester.
Class placement
After registration, students will be placed in an appropriate class based on their current proficiency in Finnish.
